At Baycrest, our mission is to enrich the lives of the elderly. One way we meet this goal at the Appotex Centre, Jewish Home for the Aged is by providing a level of care and service that far exceeds that made possible by government funding alone.

The Chai Fund Advantage
The BaycrestFoundation developed the Chai Fund Program to help provide the necessary funds for enriching the lives of residents at the Apotex Centre, Jewish Home for the Aged. Residents and their families that contribute to our program are honoured and recognized for their part in supporting such a worthy cause.
Upon admittance to the Apotex Centre, the Foundation establishes a Chai Fund in each resident's name. Contributions to these funds by residents, and their families and friends, help Baycrest provide the highest levels of residential care and service our community has come to expect.
All Chai Fund contributions are tax receiptable.
Send a Baycrest Tribute Card and Add to Your Chai Fund
Every time you honour someone special, commemorate a lifecycle event, or send a thank-you card through our Tribute Card Office you have the opportunity to add to your Chai Fund. For more information about our beautiful selection of Tribute Cards, please phone
