Grateful Family Program


A special program for patients, clients, and their families.

As you may know, it takes enormous effort to provide dignified and compassionate care for our beloved elderly.

For over 80 years, our friends in the community have been helping us provide a level of care not covered by government funding alone.

How can you help?
On admission to the Baycrest Hospital, a fund is established for each patient in the Long-Term Care Unit. Grateful families can make contributions directly to their family's fund or use our Donation Card office to:
• Recognize outstanding efforts of staff or volunteers .
• Celebrate birthdays, bar/bat mitzvahs, christenings, communions, anniversaries or graduations
• Honour life-cycle events including births and deaths
• Send notes of appreciation to friends and colleagues
• Send warm wishes to family and friends for the High Holidays, Christmas, Easter or Passover


Why should you and your family support this fund?
With every card sent and every donation made, your family's fund will be credited and Baycrest will directly benefit.

To further acknowledge your efforts, your total cumulative donation to this fund will be recognized.
