Baycrest Staff Library


The Staff Library provides access to knowledge-based information resources and services to support clinical and management decision-making, performance-improvement activities, and continuing education and research activities of our staff.

The Baycrest Staff Library specializes in Gerontology and Geriatrics. The collection contains approximately 1,000 monographs, 100 journal titles (current, print), and access to over 1800 electronic journals and 20 online databases including Medline, PsycINFO and UpToDate. Strengths of the library collection include textbooks and journals on dementia, Alzheimer's Disease, neuropsychology, neuropsychiatry, and behavioural neurology. In addition, we have a small unique collection of materials on caring for aging holocaust survivors.

All employees of Baycrest, attending physicians on staff, students participating in current clinical rotations, and authorized volunteers are eligible for library privileges. The library is open to the public for use of on-site collections and photocopying.
