Volunteer through your place of employment

Baycrest welcomes corporate employees to volunteer with us in a group during paid volunteer days, or to come at their own leisure. Being the unique organization that Baycrest is, it is possible for corporate employees to engage in diverse volunteer opportunities.

The Baycrest Ambassador Program partners with socially responsible companies sending teams of employees volunteering for Baycrest in the following areas:

• Plant and improve the gardens for Baycrest's clients
• Initiate creative fundraising campaigns raising money to improve a floor in the hospital or Apotex, Jewish Home for the Aged
• Participate in external fundraising events to raise money for Baycrest’s Foundation
• Organize a public relations team to go out into the greater community and promote Baycrest
• Any other ideas? We’d be happy to work with and accommodate your team

As part of the Ambassador Program, Baycrest will recognize the work of corporate volunteer teams through: storyboards on the external webpage, articles in internal publications and external publications as well as providing refreshments, food and recognition packages for the team during the day. Finally, employees will be able to interact with Baycrest's clients and get to meet some of the people that they are impacting, giving more meaning and satisfaction to their work. 

Baycrest allows corporate citizens to realize their impact on the organization and see how their work not only benefits the lives of Baycrest clients, but improves the quality of life for all Canadian citizens.
