About the Digital Literacy Club Learning Series

The Digital Literacy Club by Tech Coaches connects like-minded, lifelong learners with the guidance and support needed to keep up with changes in technology. This is a place for participants to grow their understanding of useful technologies, master the basics of their own personal devices and ask questions to clarify technology concepts. Join a motivated group of people to learn in a non-judgemental environment with the encouragement of a friendly tech coach.

The Digital Literacy Club hosts ten one-hour workshops for small groups with a qualified instructor passionate about helping people understand technology.

Digital Literacy Club Extended Hours

We’ve decided to open the Zoom room for an extra 30 minutes before and after the session to provide additional support. If you have questions about past topics, general tech questions or just want to “talk tech”, we invite you to join our Digital Literacy Club volunteers Adele and Linda Ruth before and after the instructional hour.

About Our Tech Coach

Chris Bint is obsessed with digital literacy and helping people understand technology. He's the Founder and Chief Learning Officer at Tech Coaches and has been a technology educator for older adults since 2006. Chris’ experience stems from his involvement as co-founder of a Canadian charity called Elder Technology Assistance Group, funded by the Ontario Trillium Foundation to uncover and overcome the challenges of teaching seniors how to use technology. He’s a fanatic for effective communication, a proponent for entertaining education and passionate about identifying the value of being both online and offline. With the Tech Coaches team and an incredible roster of community partners, Chris is on a quest to boost digital literacy for seniors, communities and organizations across Canada.
