This Tuesday, April 6 is Family Caregiver Day, a day to recognize and honour the incredible contribution caregivers bring to their care recipients, communities and the economy as a whole.
For over a year now, the COVID-19 pandemic has altered life as we know it all over the world. Between the lockdowns, limited social opportunities, ever-changing government directives, challenges related to vaccine supplies and constantly evolving media coverage of the pandemic globally, this has been an incredibly stressful year. For caregivers, the situation has presented unique difficulties.
Whether you’ve become a caregiver gradually or due to a crisis, by choice or by default, we understand the incredible challenges you face and we recognize the extraordinary work you do. Baycrest has assembled a number of our caregiver support resources below where you will find free webinars, expert advice and helpful tips.
Family Caregiver Day may only be one day, but we acknowledge and are grateful for your invaluable contribution and dedication every day of the year.
