Pre-doctoral Internship in Clinical Neuropsychology
The Pre-doctoral Internship in Clinical Neuropsychology is a one-year, full-time, paid internship accredited by the Canadian Psychological Association. The Mission of the Pre-doctoral Internship in Clinical Neuropsychology is to educate, train and evaluate our interns in order to support achievement of competence in evidence-based, clinical neuropsychological practice and research.

Psychology Internship Documents
Eligibility for this internship is restricted to clinical psychology students who are currently enrolled in a doctoral program that is an associate of the Association for Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers.

The program has been accredited by the Canadian Psychological Association in clinical neuropsychology since 2008-09. The next site visit for re-accreditation will be in 2029-2030. Practicum Placements in Psychology
Neuropsychology and Cognitive Health offers practicum placements for students currently enrolled in accredited graduate clinical psychology training programs. Affiliation agreements are required between Baycrest Hospital and the student’s university. We offer both full-time placements (35 hours per week) and part-time placements (typically 14 to 21 hours per week). The number of practicum placements during any particular term is dependent on the availability of supervisors, and typically ranges from 4 to 7 per year.
We offer practicum placements in three areas of emphasis: neuropsychological assessment, cognitive intervention, and behavioural intervention. You can download a full description of our practicum placement opportunities and application procedures in our brochure below.

Train-the-Trainer Workshops
We provide train-the-trainer workshops for health-care professionals and students in professional programs. These workshops provide learners with background education and training in the delivery of our evidence-based memory programs, including the Memory and Aging Program, Learning the Ropes for Living with MCI, and Memory Link.
